【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforconductinganelectrochemicalreactivation(EPR)testonAISIType304and304L(UNSNo.S30400andS30403,respectively)stainlesssteels.Thistestmethodcanprovideanondestructivemeansofquantifyingthedegreeofsensitizationinthesesteels(1,2,3).178;Thistestmethodhasfoundwideacceptanceinstudiesoftheeffectsofsensitizationonintergranularcorrosionandintergranularstresscorrosioncrackingbehavior(seeTerminologyG15).TheEPRtechniquehasbeensuccessfullyusedtoevaluateotherstainlesssteelsandnickelbasealloys(4),butthetestconditionsandevaluationcriteriausedweremodifiedineachcasefromthosecitedinthistestmethod.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
