【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1*Thisstandardshallspecifytheminimumdesign,performance,testing,andcertificationrequirementsforprotectiveclothingandequipmentitems,includingfullbodysuits,helmets,gloves,footwear,andpersonalflotationdevicesdesignedtoprovidelimitedprotectionfromphysical,environmental,thermal,andcertainchemicalandbiologicalhazardsforemergencyservicespersonnelduringsurfacewateroperations.1.1.2*Thisstandardshallspecifyrequirementsforprotectiveclothingandprotectiveequipmentusedduringoperationsinsurfacewater,swiftwater,tidalwater,surf,andice.1.1.3*Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforprotectiveclothingandprotectiveequipmentforanyoffshorewateroperations,andanydiveoperations.1.1.4*Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforprotectiveclothingandprotectiveequipmentforanytechnicalrescueoperation,anyfirefightingoperations,orhazardousmaterialsemergencies.1.1.5*Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforaccessoriesthatcouldbeattachedtoanyprotectiveclothingorequipmentitembutarenotrequiredfortheproducttomeettherequirementsofthisstandard.1.1.6Thisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwiththeuseofcompliantsurfacewateroperationsprotectiveclothingandequipment.Itshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusecompliantsurfacewateroperationsprotectiveclothingandequipmenttoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.1.7Thisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwiththeuseofthisstandardbytestingfacilities.Itshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusethisstandardtoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouseofthisstandardfordesigning,manufacturing,andtesting.1.1.8Certificationofsurfacewateroperationsprotectiveclothingandequipmenttotherequirementsofthisstandardshallnotprecludecertificationtoadditionalappropriatestandardswheretheprotectiveclothingorequipmentmeetsalltheapplicablerequirementsofeachstandard.1.1.9Nothinghereinshallrestrictanyjurisdictionormanufacturerfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
