【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresfortestingcrosslinkedinsulationsandjacketsforwireandcable.Todeterminethetesttobemadeontheparticularinsulationorjacket,refertotheproductspecificationforthattype.Thesetestmethodsdonotapplytotheclassofproductsknownasflexiblecords.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardsseeSection.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseintheparenthesesareforinformationonly.Inmanyinstancestheinsulationorjacketcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedorjacketedwireorcableinthesetestmethodssolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationorjacketandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Thistestappliestothedetectionandmeasurementofpartialdischargesoccurringinthefollowingtypesofelectriccables:Single-conductorshieldedcablesandassembliesthereof,andMultiple-conductorcableswithindividuallyshieldedconductors.Donotperformthesetestson:Cableswhichhaveanonconductiveseparatorbetweentheconductorandtheinsulation,Cableshavinginsulationslessthan0.045in.(1.14mm)thick,orInsulationswithcoveringsthatarenotremovablewithoutdamagetotheinsulation.
